I was working on this the other day, and I promised it sounded a lot better.
This was more of a sound test to see what my guitar sounded like. Because of the way it's connected to my computer, I cannot hear what I'm recording until I reconnect everything and play it back. And as such, you're hearing something disgusting, because I turned on the distortion for no reason at all. I should have recorded it clean, as it was meant to be played.
I WANT you to hear ALL of my flaws. I WANT you to know that I'm not perfect, but I'm trying. I used to think that showing only perfection was the way to go, but through my work in ZEXISM, I have changed my mind.
Anyway, this is a scrap. A sound test more of less. I will work on it, on everything, and I hope to be able to re-record this soon, and hopefully it will sound loads better.
What you hear is a "song" (lol) I made up. I was trying to learn a Metallica song, I think it's called Sanitarium, and I messed up quite badly. And then I just did a little finger practice to get my fingers arched correctly (you can hear in the audio what it sounds like to have it arched incorrectly [fret buzz]), and this is what came of it.
Hate it, love it, but above all give me some feedback. NOT going on the front page just yet.

I'm using a standard guitar / stereo cable that goes into my pedal. From the pedal, I'm using a Guitar / Stereo plug to headphone / mono jack converter. This allows me to connect a headphone jack to it basically. From there, I take a double headed headphone jack, put one end in the converter, and the other end in the line-in port of the computer.
I then record with Audacity.

That's something of what the converter looks like. I can't find the double headed jack for whatever reason, but it's just a headphone jack on both ends of a cable.
