Someone rescued me from the thwomp with a spatula and pan but at a cost of being real fine golden brown instead of just a pancake in spirit.

And a actual golden pancake if you want, I'm often on the fence of color changing cause I like the character to have their real identifable colors and a suble change wasn't cutting it for this.
And don't forget breakfast lovers! Got like 10,000x the daily sugar content and will still turn to super sticky gum at the first chomp.
