shibara had a lot of ideas to choose from for this commission, and she went with this. A challenging scenario, with all that green, and on top of it she tried out a new inking technique for this. It's a brush-style inking, with her usual color magic.

AND OMG DID IT WORK! All those shades of green, and yet my emerald dragoness still pops off the page. The composition challenges here of color, scene, and subject were faced down with great success. Truly one of shibara's best pieces to date, though I may be biased. ;) She certainly enjoyed it quite a bit, and I did, too, when I was able to watch.

Here we have Rooth taking notes on Aram's growth technique. He believes within her psionic powers lies the key to opening up a gate to send her back to her home dimension. Or maybe he's just telling her that as an excuse to see her naked. ;) 'course, Rooth is always naked, so maybe he's just trying to get her to realize it's not a big deal for dragons. ^_^
