I like your sense of characters' postures... are you inspired by specific artists? The designs seem so fluid yet the poses are so angled.

I'm inspired by the way starliro (twitter) and infezmite (twitter) organize their ref sheets, though infezmite does something more fluid. Typically, I think of a species and some aesthetic/color/vibe, something that serves as a general guide, and then I search for a pose on Pinterest. I create the design and, based on that, I choose more reference poses that I think suit the character and make modifications if necessary.

I like drawing poses that aren't limited to showing the character's anatomy, because I find it more fun to draw and because it seems to give some depth to the character's personality, even if I haven't thought of a personality and only have very vague ideas.
