Perhaps this zoo won't be abandoned for much longer; a new resident is already joining. When the feet and legs become hind legs, it's better to lie on your back and wait for the rest of the transformation. Once you've changed this much and there's no hope of rescue, you can only come to terms with everything and watch your body continue to change. Soon your hands will also become paws, and then you'll be a beautiful black jaguar.
You've also captured the pattern of the fur very nicely; a black jaguar doesn't have plain black fur.
