Whew! I can't even begin to tell you how many times I edited this drawing! I have always struggled with Redtails design and I think I am FINALLY happy with it!
I redrew the sketch 4 different times, all the same pose too, I just couldn't get him to look right.
And then when I was finally happy with sketch and lineart I redid his colours and patterns 5 times.
But I digress... I now LOVE how it looks and I hope you do as well <3
Ah Redtail how I wish he would have lived longer in Into the Wild. I think he would have been such a great character.
