Jamila was tasked with exploring a city from a neighboring country for a week in order to see the differences between Sulakawa and the outside world. She reluctantly agreed, her concerns with her leaving the library leaving the library for that long being assuaged by Nahida's reassurance, and left for her new assignment. The difference was immediate the moment she arrived by boat to the city. The buildings were unlike any she'd seen before, most standing taller than any building in Sulakawa. She found her way to the hotel she was designated to stay at, and began to wrote down all of the new things she had already seen. As day crept to night, she decided she wanted to head back out. The first thing she noticed was the difference in stars in the sky, much fewer than she was used to. While walking about the city, she came across a park illuminated by the numerous light poles contained within it. She walked through this park, taking in the vibrant nature she was unaccustomed to, when she met another walking that night trail.

Jamila went up to the figure and introduced herself. Lynxie introduced herself as well and asked Jamila what she was doing roaming the park by herself at night, to which Jamila simply replied that she was taking in the sights. The two decided to walk the trails together and soon found themselves talking happily about some of things they had been up to recently. As they came back to the beginning of the trail that they had met, Lynxie offered to guide Jamila around the city the next day. Jamila gladly accepted.

The rest of the week flew by fast as the two explored the entirety of the ciy, Lynxie showing some of their favorite places to visit and even finding new ones they hadn't come across yet. As the Last day approached, the two decided to do something to remind themselves of the fun they had during Jamila's week in the city. They went to a photo booth and took a few pictures to remember each other by. As the time came for Jamila to head back, Lynxie walked with her all the way to the docks and waved her off as she set sail back to Sulakawa.

Jamila kept the photos of her distant friend in her photo collage book she kept in her house. The first one being the two pressed together in the photo booth, a reminder to how close of friends they had become in such a short amount of time. The other...
