Characters in the Story: Basil, Dart, Jasper, Soren

A day after the 'After Work' story. Jasper and Soren had agreed to have a sleepover with Basil and Dart.
KNOCK KNOCK!
Basil sighed, grunting as they stood up from the couch, before Dart stopped them.
"Rest, Base. I got the door." Dart said, walking to the door.
Basil sat back down, sighing once more before they heard the door open.
"Hey Dart! Nice to see you." Soren greeted him, walking into the apartment and hugging the grey lizard. Jasper trailed behind nervously.
Soren released Dart to greet Basil while Jasper closed the door behind him to hug Dart.
"Hi, Dart." Jasper said, softly hugging him and quickly retreating to stay close by Soren.
Basil tugged their uniform and looked at the wolves' pajamas, realizing they (Basil) hadn't showered and hadn't put on their pajamas.
"Crap. Guys, I have to head to the shower. You guys can mess around or whatever.." Basil mumbled, retreating to the bathroom and shutting the door.
Jasper grabbed the remote on the couch to turn the TV on. He began to change the channel on the cheap, little TV, looking for something that they all could watch.
Dart and Soren hopped onto the couch, Soren scooting towards his nervous little boyfriend, Jasper.
"You guys don't have to scroll through the channels in that, I saved tons of movies on this thing. Gimme the remote." Dart explained, snatching the remote from Jasper, making the wolf flinch.
In the shower, Basil rubbed the bar of soap all over their soft, damp snake body.
The warm water sprinkling on them made the hefty snake hiss happily.
They rubbed the soap on their large, distended belly, then their thighs, their feet, then lastly the tail, which rattled every once in a while when a sensitive spot on the tail was hit.
Dart, seeing Jasper flinch, gave him a soft, apologetic look. "Sorry, Jas. Didn't mean to startle you." He quickly navigated the menu on the small TV, pulling up a vast library of stored movies. "Here we go. Pick something. Anything but documentaries, please. They make me sleepy."
After a long, satisfying soak, Basil stepped out of the shower, wrapped in a large, fluffy towel. They quickly dried off and slipped into their favorite, oversized pajamas, a comfortable, stretchy fabric that easily accommodated their small height but large weight. They ran a paw over their now fluffy, clean fabric skin, feeling refreshed and ready for a night of relaxation.
Basil walked back into the living room, the faint scent of soap lingering around them. Dart was already expertly navigating the movie menu on the TV, while Soren had managed to coax a slightly less nervous Jasper into snuggling up beside him on the couch.
"Alright," Basil grunted, flopping onto the remaining space on the couch, which groaned slightly under their weight. "What did I miss?"
