The fluffy white dragon sketched as he splayed his body along the ground, fitting neatly within the space provided by the horseshoe-shaped curve, quaking the ground as he did, cracks webbing out from under him from his unbelievable weight, his plump rear wobbling as he got into position. Of course, at that size, he really didn't need to restrict himself to that space, but today, breaching the space would've been detrimental to what they were there for.
Yes, "they", because he wasn't alone, as his maroon-scaled saurian companion with whom he equaled in size knelt alongside him, causing another tremor and cracks spreading from under him as well.
As distant horns echoed through the mountains, Mauna beamed in excitement. They had gotten there just in time. "Thanks for joining in, Blaze!" he said cheerfully. "It's so much more fun with a buddy!"
"Of course, my fluffy pal!" Blaze said with his usual toothy smirk.
"I gotta say," Mauna went on, "I'm impressed you were willing to hold yourself back for the occasion!"
Blaze let out a hearty laugh, booming across the valley. "Ah well, you know," he chuckled, "I wouldn't want to spoil the moment for ya." The Supersaurus gave the dragon a teasing pat on his pronounced butt cheek, making Mauna blush slightly. Blaze casually left his arm right there, as Mauna's rump made for a rather convenient and comfortable arm rest. "Besides, I'd be hypocritical if I said I didn't every this some of the time!"
It was true. As much as the dinosaur craved destruction, it was just as satisfying to every quieter moments involving certain vehicles he knew the two of them both enjoyed.
"Ooh, here it comes!" Mauna gasped, as he heard the train rolling into the area on the side closest to him.
"Other one's coming!" Blaze noted, as he eyed yet another train passing through his massive shadow, heading in the opposite direction.
It was the perfect setup, as the two trains met each other in opposite directions in the middle of the big curve, honking at each other as they passed by, and by extension, honking at the two mountainous giants.
Honk HOOOOONK
HONK HONK HONK
"Hey!" Blaze said with a chuckle. "I didn't even need to pump by fist for that one!"
"Heh, maybe they just know us by now!" Mauna said. "It's not the first time after all!"
"True, I guess they know what I like!"
"Yeah, so they appease you to dissuade you from doing 'what you like'!" Mauna mused.
"Oh ha ha, fluffderg!" Blaze snorted, slapping Mauna's cheek and making it shake, though he had to admit, Mauna wasn't wrong.
In any case, the two watched the long trains pass by and continue on their way, waiting until the trains were out of sight before planning their next move. As big as they were, they could travel really easily to any prominent train-watching spot they wanted. "So, where to next?" Blaze asked.
"Well," said Mauna. "I know where we can see some steamers!"
"Ooh!" Blaze perked up, blowing steam from his nose. "Let's go!"
