I have a recurring problem in Andrew's art where his antlers are much too small. It's partly my fault for going along with it for so long, and also kind of understandable given how much complexity they will add.
This image is cartoony, but still meant to set the record straight. Andrew is canonically a twelve point buck. His rack should probably be wider than his shoulders, and those are already broad. He has to duck and turn going through doorways and is constantly apologising for damage and inconvenience. If they look smaller than this size in a piece of art it's probably because the artist made them too small and I didn't notice or didn't complain.
This is not meant as a dig at artists that have drawn him previously. Giving him eight or ten points and making the antlers look smaller isn't going to hurt anyone, and for some pictures was basically necessary for the composition. There's also a case that it looks better aesthetically - it's easy to abstract numbers and proportions in your head, but sometimes they just don't work when set down in an image and the canonical width especially would probably look a bit ridiculous. I had the same problems with the canonical scale not translating attractively to image form with some of his NSFW art, haha.
I also generally ignore the idea of his antlers shedding, because that makes the ring he has stuck on there make a lot less sense and I don't really like the thought of ever seeing him without them... But perhaps it would offer a helpful explanation of why they change size between pictures. Something to think about.
I do intend to get something in the future that will show the proper size in a less cartoony style, and to try to at least represent the scale a bit better on the whole. There are a couple of specific pictures in my backlog where I really wish I had put my foot down. Ah well.
Thanks to
Magayser for adding this onto another image set after I realised I had approved his antlers being too narrow. No big deal, those pics still look great. I'll be uploading them soooon.

Trust me, I -SPECIFICALLY- request for HUGE antlers. I get where you are coming from though.

Albeit he is -not- 100% a deer, he is certainly 99% deer.

I've tried! I recently started using pictures of actual deer with biiig antlers for the scale and it's something that just does't seem to get through a lot of the time.
I should have been more careful about it early on but here we are.
I like your deerish boy, very cute. The small build with the very big proportional antlers works very well - I suspect trying that at Andrew's scale would look rather more 'cryptid' which is something I worry about a little if they do get drawn full size!

I just wanted comically massive antlers for my SMOL, SLIM boy. Sort where he is doomed if they hit- like you said- a door frame, or get stuck against floorboards.
I would definitely settle with a pair you deem most suited for your man! I normally do not -demand- perfection from every artist when it involves drawing Karlen's antlers. Just as long as it closely resembles it!
