FOOOOM! FOOOM! FOOOOM!
"Liking my date idea so far, Ames?"
"Yeah, this is actually rather fun!"
That was the worst possible thing residents of Station Square's beach district could hear right about now. Normally, these two showing up in town was cause for a celebration. But ever since the war started, news began to spread of Mobians indulging in... darker passions. Wiping out neighborhoods as kaiju. Terrorizing key businesses to prove a point. Lording over their opponents with strength stolen from the gods.
They didn't wanna believe it. They could barely even comprehend it.
And now... it was here.
They were here.
FOOOOOOOOOOM! FOOOOOOM! FOOOOOOOOOOM!
Among the attacking Mobians, Sonic and Amy scared humanity the most for just how casual they were about it. Dozens of buildings disappeared under their feet like overgrown anthills; they swatted away incoming jets and missiles like flies. Slowly but surely, more and more of Station Square was reduced to ruin. And their giggling made the stench of death even worse.
"I do have one question for you, my darling Sonic."
"Yeah, what's that?"
"After all this time here, Station Square is rather boring me. Care to venture out a bit?"
From behind his massive Hawaiian shirt... Sonic pulled out two Chaos Emeralds.
The psychotic grin on his face said it all.
"Oh, sweetheart... I thought you'd never ask."
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR...
The world quaked. The millions screamed. And the two massive giants... began growing even bigger.
