[INF,WoW] Such is the risk of unstable magic
Tarecogsa recently had been tampering with the unstable magics on the Nexus, seeking to use its power against the dark aspec, Deathwing. She knew that it was going to be very difficult to control, even for a blue dragon such as herself. Once absorbing the magic, she called out for three different kind of dragons, to see how such magic could affect them. once the blue gathered Alexstrasza, Onyxia, and Valkyra, she attempted to cast a simple, weightless spell. while in the midt of casting, somethign went wrong, and etheral, magical cable had snapped, and all the containded engery within the dragoness lashed out! FIlling Poor Tarecgosato her absolute brim, the magics she seeped quickly spreading to the three dragonesses accompaning her.

just because you have to pay for something doesnt mean you have to hate it/mean it's bad. Blizzard is a BIG company.and WoW is a primary source of income to pay everyone and devleope new games and such.
and two:...really? THAT'S a reason? *facepalm* You judge a game by it's gameplay, not how famous it is.
and it really isn't that bad at all. 95%(guesstimating) of the people saying it's "bad" or "horrible" are just a different type of gamer than MMOs

well, I am into MMOs, but I mean, you have to pay, monthly just to play it... AFTER YOU BUY THE FRIGGIN GAME DISK!!! That's a pure rip off right there. My brother got it, and was pissed because he couldn't even play it OFFLINE without paying monthly. Also, I just don't like the idea that it sorta rips off Oblivion, or so I heard. I love the draggies though, don't get me wrong there. But the only major reason I don't like it is because of personal experience with it.
again, it's a needed source of income. you're not forced to pay monthly, either.you can just buy a card, which can give 60 days of gametime.
It's not a rip off that you would need to pay to pay, not at all. also, being htat it's an MMO, you kinda can't play offline, period.
also, i do belive WoW cam eout before oblivion did. What year did it come out?

well, the first Oblivion I heard came out in I think 1990 something not exactly sure. Though, I know that's before WoW came out. Also, my experience was that they and no one else EVER said you had to buy it then pay AGAIN monthly.... >> that's a rip off when they never say it, especially in the commercials. They should just choose either of these two to really work. Either single payment for the product and payment for expansion packs, OR just free download online, and then pay for its use monthly. That's actually a better business tactic, but I've had a bad experience with it. Since it was not really stated you have to pay to play
Elder scrolls, perhaps. but Oblivion? Goodness, no! Oblivion(there's only 1) came out in 2006, WoW in 2004.
It would not be a better buisiness option,at all. buyin gthe game and then it being free to play would mean they'd lose a TON of money. people could just give the dists to their friends for free download. it were the other option, free download, pay for play, there would be much trouble managing things.
It isnt a rip off at all, and it IS stated you'll have to pay...you're just not looking very hard,at all

I never looked, because I never got it, my brother did, and he not knowing, nor seeing the increadibly small print (even if it's on the box or anywhere) he got ripped off, because he comes home, installs it and is saying WTF?! when hev goes to play it. HE can't pay monthly fees, not everyone can. That's why the two are actually better, because it attracts people better. There's also the one way they can stop people from letting others use the disk, it's registration codes that can only be used once.
as i said earlier, you dont have to pay monthly fees. It's not ripped off if you dont do a little research.
Yeah, the regrstratio codes...that's faulty, let's say yo uuse the code. Great! the gam eis isntalled!, then something happens to your computer, you get a new one, then you can no longer use the code.
it's as fair and reasonable as it can be.
