I'm sorry. making you cry was the least of my intentions ... although I have to admitt the impact we make on this world and how it fades by time was the first thing that came to my mind, I can offer you a different interpredation: being the symbolic contrast of enlightenment, the light of knowledge pushing the shadow of ignorance and fear slowly away, helping the soul to grow :)
