Ambitious Geep
This little GP38-2 thinks he's gonna push the A777 all by himself. This should be interesting!
No, not really xD The 2511 is helping to assemble CSX's A777 or 'Triple Seven' intermodal double-stack train in the loop (West Yard) in CSX's Taft Yard in Orlando, Florida. You're actually looking at the rear end of the train, and the 2511 is facing away from us. The Geep's job is to push the cars together when needed. (The pair of road locomotives up front help out, too!) After the train is fully assembled, 2511 will de-couple and the F.R.E.D. (Flashing Rear End Device) will be put on. The train will then depart with a pair of road locomotives on the other end.

I'm not sure if it would be his department, but I am trying to contact CSX to ask if I could somehow receive a number board from a locomotive that was scrapped, their GE B40-8 number 5947. The loco was special to me, and a number board would be a nice keepsake and remembrance. :3

SpeakerPolice is my own YouTube; I also have tons of railfanning stuff on there, including several startup videos and myself behind the control stand of an EMD SD9.

Oh ok. Nice! Those tracks must be well polished then! I like to see the tracks all shiny! Means they are used often!
And CSX just ripped out more trackage of the oldest line in the United States, the Camden and Amboy. From Camden through Bordentown, NJ, the Camden & Amboy has lots of freight trains and even New Jersey Transit RIVERLine trains, but the junction in Bordentown, the part of the line that turns and goes to Yardville through to Perth Amboy has lost a lot of industry which led to the line's demise. The tracks presently only go to Yardville which is about 8 miles from the junction to supply Ocean Spray Cranberries (which are set to go to PA and Yardville Supply (a concrete company) and that's it. For years the line still existed beyond Yardville, but were weeded over. Now, CSX had ripped them out. A sad farewell to one of America's original railroads.

I can back up your statement, haha! They are excellent pullers!
Not a GP38 rather a GP40 here, but still an impressive clip I shot some time ago: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdK4jHbzZGY
