After setting out from the abbey that took him in as an oprhaned child, Gargras started adventuring at 19, and here he is, almost two decades later, still an adventurer, and still has a huge appetite. He may have mellowed a little, but his innate sorcery is still potent, destructive, and a life long project to put it to good and kind uses.
Still bedecked in religious iconography, he still practices and administers sacrements when asked, but lets face it.
If you need something Burned, beaten or bitten to protect the innocent, that is where he really shines. Because he still sets a lot of things on fire.
His shadow still has a mind of its own sometimes.

Also, yes i removed setting specific iconography so he can be fit into multiple tables, and settings. I intend to play him in multiple systems as well.
