I am DONE. FINALLY. Or at least, I've reached a point I can call it good enough. xD
I'm uploading both a version with and without the bg blurred, because dammit that's a lot of detail to just lose. ;_; This is the one without the blurred background.
Doing a full BG from scratch AND soft shading I'm not used to was a lot, and I don't want to tackle anything like this again for a good while. -m-
Xolani, the smaller drake, is berating Circe, the taller drake, in a medical suite. She's being yelled at for having allowed her partner drake to bite her in the heat of the moment on her shoulder, and the wound getting infected with a flesh-eating bacteria and leading to a need for heavy antibiotics and a risk of necrosis or sepsis. If she'd either cleaned it and seen Xolani immediately, or even just not let her partner bite her in the first place like that, it wouldn't be enough of a problem to be yelled at by the doctor!
Abyss drakes are a closed species by Spacedrakes!
