Yakinia is a small continent located on the norhtern hemisphere of this alternative Earth.

It's based off Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. The climate noticably changes between the humid and rather warm in summers southwest, and cold, arid northeast. Most of the major cities are located on the southern and western coasts.
The country was properly established at the end of the XIX Century, although the southern tip was de facto an independent country by 1700s.

It's capital city is Campbell (located around the bay right off the centre of the image, by the beige-coloured bay on the right). The biggest city is off the image as I have yet to reach that area on the drawing.
