Yeah, washing bays seemed like the most plausible solution for the dragons who live in Enclaves. :)

As for mobile dragon washing services? That would totally work, especially if you could put together a mobile frame that replicates a wash bay, allowing the dragons to wash themselves.

Maintaining a sense of independence and self agency runs deep in the psychology of the dragons in this story setting, because of what they went through during their metamorphosis. The only human they'd allow to wash them would be "their person." Ditto for anything else a dragon could do on their own.

Horn wax. Talon oil. I was going to suggest scale buffing compound, but that kind of work would take an entire ground crew. Besides, the wash bays have those fantastic roller brushes.... Especially the 2nd stage brushes. Get those working just right and oh... oh yeah. That's the spot. :D
