.75 cup sour cream
.75 cup water
1 egg
4 cups flour
3 tbsp white sugar
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
5 tbsp cubed cold butter
3 tbsp oats
1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. In a mixing bowl, mix the water and sour cream until smooth. Add the egg and beat it into the mixture.
3. In a separate bowl, blend flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Using a pastry blender, mix the butter into the mix until the butter is pea-sized.
4. Fold the liquid mix into the powder mix and stir it into it gets extremely thick. Mix the oats into it as well. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface into it is no longer sticky.
5. Put it on a lightly greased pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a fork comes out clean.
