At work today, I decided I wanted to draw something action-y. So this pose came into mind, and I started drawing it up. Got the heads done, and most of the demon's body, and then couldn't figure out what to dress the slayer in. Then one of my coworkers had his portable DVD player set up (slow night) and he was watching Troy. After drooling over their armor for a while, I finished the pic. Sort of. I didn't do much with the slayer's legs, obviously, but I think that's for the best. >.>

...I dunno. I got more of a gladatorial combat kinda vibe from it than someone killing demons. Some kinda monstery toothy lizard thingy critter in the area, for the amusement of the bloodthirsty masses.
It looks good, though. Actiony poses are always good, you should do more of them, since they seem to turn out pretty well when you do try them. And his armor turned out pretty good, too. You should do more of that, too. I'd offer some suggestions, but, you'd probabily hit me. :P

Hmm, a gladatorial theme works pretty well, yes. I hadn't really thought all that much about it. I just had this freaky demon thing fighting this guy with a sword and 'demonslayer' was the term that came to mind. =P

I'd have to agree with the gladiator thing, as he looks properly dressed for such, unless it's an invasion by a bunch of those demony lizards and they're defending their home or such.
Looks good. The lizard's really neat looking, and the way it's clinging to his shield there and swiping over it. The warrior's expression seems a tad bland, but he could just be controlling his emotions to fight better. And the armor is neat.
