Imagine a story that doesn't have a particularly happy ending. Boombox has a falling out with her love interest, said guy dies, she's filled with regret and guilt over not having a chance to make things up. To make matters worse, she's unable to save him. She hits a breaking point and just snaps. Her dreams of a happy, fulfilling life owning a small record store is replaced with grueling mercenary work just to take her mind off things.
Bit edgy, but I thought it'd be cool to do something a bit more serious with this goofball. Still with the Nirvana references. "In Bloom" is used ironically due to the context of the lyrics, "Lithium" is just one hell of a bipolar experience lyric wise.
