Usually, magic stuff is left to someone like Ruby, but sometimes John isn't too afraid to dabble in it himself. And despite his difficulties at first, it looks like he's succeeded! Thanks to his "expert" spellcasting, he enchanted a pair of old combat gloves to give him an added boost of strength and speed; which if trained properly, can make him a real powerhouse to be reckoned with. Although, it looks as if the spell's methods of strengthening him isn't exactly what he had initially intended...
