Hey buds got some more concept art for you guys. This time of Menagerie 4's leader General Huanglong. AKA the Golden Dragon of Chinussia.

She and her younger brother Leif were orphaned as children in a fire bombing during one of the many Chinussian civil wars. Her brother would unfortunately succumb to starvation but Vasalisa would be found on the brink of death by one Luciana Randal.

No one knows why Luciana was compelled to take the girl in. Perhaps it was some bit of kindness buried in the jet black coal of her heart though more likely she saw potential in the girl that she could exploit.

Regardless Vasalisa did have a damn near endless well of potential and a drive to succeed. As an adult she earned a high position of power in the Chinussian government and is one of the only reasons Echidna is allowed in Chinussa in the first place.

Though seemingly emotionless deep down she does actually care about others and deeply disagrees with Luciana as a person. However she feels she owes her a life dept and is thus compelled to follow orders.

She also adopted an aesthetic typhogeny and unlike a lot of folk with them she cares for him deeply (you'll be seeing him soon) She even named him after her deceased brother.
