Name: Warren Jarvis Kalnins
Gender: Male
Species: Nidoking
Age: 49
Height: ~9.5 ft
Birthplace: New York, USA
Occupation: Diner Owner and Cook
Likes: His kids, taking naps, drinking with his buddies, cooking for people
Dislikes: Strict rules, demanding customers, people questioning his parenting, solving puzzles
Personality: The best way of understanding Warren would be following the saying: “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Upon first glance, many might consider Warren a bit lazy, sluggish, and rather lax in how he runs things. Now while that is mostly accurate, most people don’t see the other side of him that paints him in a different light. He might be a bit on the lazier side of things, but that likely has to do with the fact he puts most of his energy into raising and supporting his many kids while doing his dream job of cooking for others. He may always look exhausted, but he loves his job and all his kids, and wouldn’t trade either of them for anything else. His parenting skills might be more on the questionable side, but don’t ever mistake it for him not caring about his kids.
Bio: For Warren, cooking was always something that seems to have been in his blood. Growing up watching his father Jarvis, who himself was the son of Latvian immigrants, work as a chef in their own restaurant seems to have been where Warren got his inspiration from. He recalls the times he had to be reminded by his dad to not bother the chefs at the school cafeteria since he kept trying to add suggestions or offer ways he thought might improve the food. His initial dream of wanting to become a big named chef started to mellow out in high school, realizing the demanding nature of doing so would quickly turn his passion into a chore. It was also during this time that he met Ida, a Nidoqueen, who would become his wife after they both graduated high school. To both pursue his goal of opening his own restaurant and supporting his wife, who wished to study at Indigo University, he decided he would move with his wife to Indigo City and open his own diner, The Drill Bite, with support from his and Ida’s families. Eventually Warren and Ida had their first two kids together, Rochelle and Alan. Tragedy unfortunately struck the family when during Ida’s third birth, it was discovered she developed an extremely rare condition where she would end up giving birth to micro Triacontulets, all being sons. This tragically led to health complications that would result in Ida passing away after giving birth. Now being a single father with two kids was already a daunting task, but raising 32 kids was something completely different altogether, especially with 30 of them being micros. However, not only did he make a promise to Ida before her passing that he would take care of every single one of them, but he believed doing so would also help carry on her spirit with the family. Even though raising 32 kids while running his diner has been rather taxing on his body, and has led to numerous micro shenanigans, he’s been doing a pretty good job. He received assistance from both his and Ida’s families, often doing what they can to help raise their grandkids, and his buddies like Malik, Burton, and the other guys have pitched in when needed too. Now, his only daughter Rochelle eventually moved out after following in her mother’s footsteps and graduating from college, with Alan also following by attending college too, living in a dorm on his own. This now leaves Warren with his 30 micro sons to raise and a diner to run, and while it might be a rather tough life, he still wouldn’t change anything.

Wowie, this one sure was a bit of a doozy to think a backstory for. I wanted to give this dad a good reason for his tired expression, and my idea was "what if he had just a ton of micro kids?" as that would lead to some fun situations~
His backstory is a bit of a sadder one I won't lie, but I figured it would give Warren a stronger reason for keeping so many sons around. He might accidentally step on or sit on one of them occasionally, but don't you dare call him a bad father. I'm sure doing so would result in him putting something in your food... or put you into the food if you're a micro.
Also expect to potentially see Alan at some point in the near future, as I intend for him to be friends with Hashim, Ambrose, and Crofton as well~
