Hi,animal nerd here just wanted to point smth out. The wings (or rather,wing/skin) are all in one singular piece of flesh like a sugarglider or a flying squirrels stretchy skin membrane.Does this imply that your cryptid climbs up high then glides with occasional flapping or does it boost itself up somehow?Or are the wings just for show like how an ostrichs are? I'm sorry if I'm info dumping but this concept fascinates me..

EDIT:maybe it uses its tail like a spring to push itself up? or maybe that can assist in climbing then flying and also possibly steering
