Since I had the pleasure to draw an ACEO card for
zippystardust last weekend, which featured a strawberry, I spontaneously came up with another sketch idea that I colored from yesterday to today.
The coloring was a lot of work, as the many strawberry plant leaves required every conceivable shade of green. While I actually like the background, the cheetah's coloring was unfortunately less impressive. I tried to incorporate the insights from the last leopard drawing (Blossom) here as well. The wet-on-wet technique actually worked quite well, but the contrast came out far too low. Nevertheless, the ecstatic cheetah looking at the strawberries is somehow sweet.
