Just a little lore drop in regards to the world of Sepharil and the Sepharilite Dragon species that my character Layla is a part of. This explains the way that the ecosystem of Sepharil infects its denizens with a unique form of microbial life that slowly rebuilds and takes over any alien species that dwells upon the world or in a closed air system. This unique microbial life form is in absolutely everything on Sepharil. In the food, in the water, in the air. The only assured way to avoid the fate of being transformed into a Sepharilite native is to wear a fully sealed environmental suit when on the world's surface. This microbial life is incredibly pernicious, and will infect entire spaceships if the air is not proper scrubbed clean.
