We lost Dragoneer / Wren a year ago today.
People will likely know him as the long-time admin and owner of this site, but to me he was that cheeky shiny 'Vee who was down for some lewd TF fun as much as he was for making friends and looking after people in his community.
His art was amazing, and he was great at supporting other artists on Twitter, whom I'm lucky to call friends now because of him.
I was going to get art with him at some point, as he explicitly told me he wanted to get art with me, both SFW and NSFW, and I told him I wanted to commission him when he was starting to feel better.

I spoke with him on the Sunday before he passed, and he listened to me and gave me advice, even as I was venting about the complications my disability was causing me.
He commiserated with me and gave me support and love, even while he was not well himself.

I was out on the Tuesday, and last I heard from him was that things were getting slightly better.
By the time I got back home, he was no longer with us, and my heart broke.
I cried solidly for the next 2½ hours, and continued to on and off for the next fortnight.
I still think about him, and I still cry, even now.
We had so many plans together... but this is the only one I have been able to bring myself to make happen.

I love you Wren, forever and always, my Beanvee friend.
