Yet another fun robot comm I got to do for
Patashu, who has again generously provided a writeup for this piece:

PI-PBF-0429-FE-001 "RAMPART" Rampart, Shaymin (Land Form) Battle Fortress, 'Field Engineer' class, manufactured by Patashu Industries, 33 meters tall (foot to top of the Mechatronic Garden)
Battle Fortresses are towering animalistic war machines that can cover the entire roles of an adventurer party or army. They can be crewed or piloted, but also have a sapient AI and can work autonomously.
'Field Engineers' are designed to be able to aid in civil engineering - disaster relief or construction of new projects - entrenching military position, or aiding in an ongoing conflict by providing energy production, repairs and 'ivy' temporary structural supports.
This is a setting infused with Type Energy, so plant constructs are able to draw it in through roots, through the air and through the sunlight. Rampart has Grass Type Energy Reactors onboard for reliable (and very bright green!) glowing power, that would be down-converted into electricity for interface with less magical systems, and used in onboard factories to build new seeds before moving them up to the Mechatronic Garden to finish construction/allow them to draw in their own energy. These building-dwarfing mechanical plants can operate in their slots, or be collapsed back into seed form, loaded onto the Agricultural Tower's crane and shot out of the railgun to deploy elsewhere. The drills burrow into the earth, and can form a root network to connect nearby plants together, sharing resources and communications.
The two flowers on the sides are double duty energy collectors and Seed Flare cannons. The petals can close up when under attack. The leaves are movable shields and energy collectors. The dense foliage of the Mechatronic Garden makes for excellent cover for the plants inside to retreat into, as well as for allied crew/heroes to use as cover in a battle. The eyes are black panel screens with projected green-to-yellow pupils. Additional turrets and the mawcannon cover angles the Mechatronic Garden can't, or in case it currently doesn't have the right plants installed.
Plants depicted in the reference sheet:
RAY - a flower with petals and leaves. It draws in type energy from its surroundings, above and below ground, stored in battery fruits hanging from its exterior. The flower stem can be used to fire beams (offensively or to wirelessly transfer energy), and it has an antennae system for communicating distances further than the root network.
AMBUSH - a flat, five petal, serrated flower. Carries vines which can strangle swarmers and infiltrate battle fortresses to drain them of power. Can draw metal into its center and devour it. Manufactures and releases paralytic/anti-electronic warfare chaff clouds. Can lie hidden undercover until a target is nearby.
WILLOW - a weeping willow inspired plant, having a central pillar with three branches that droop over and cover the exterior in a drooping, reactive material curtain. A ring of robotic arms/tools can slide up and down the interior. Designed to defensively cover a unit or building while performing construction/repairs to it. Other plants can also be constructed if the blueprints are available (cactus walls and turrets, tree bridges, exploding seed pots, scotch thistle fence, creeping ivy reinforcement, etc).

Thanks again to the wonderful Patashu for their generous support and for making me draw lots of cool robots!
