Ember, a chaotic being with origins based on an ancient ritual, finds themselves fractured across time and space, each of their hundreds of copies being sent off to different parts of different universes.

One such Ember finds themselves stranded in a pocket realm in the middle of nowhere. As they and their two hundred tailmaws try to find a way out, they are assaulted by an imp... an imp that seems to share some sort of chaotic connection with them? Determined to survive, Ember tries their best to avoid the imp and get them to stand down and maybe talk things out...

When I first heard about  burn-the-kitsune's lore for Ember, I found myself nodding along to some certain similarities. Formed by chaos? A shapeshifter? A bit of a mischievous prankster? Has a propensity for being very multi? I just knew I had to write a story about the two of them meeting each other...

Thanks to Ember for answering all my questions about their sona and helping me bring this story to fruition! It was fun to work on this one, and I hope that I can write some more Ember/Impzel shenanigans at some point in the future.
