Jiemba & Lafayette Thumbnails
Some rough thumbnail doodles from a few weeks back of when Jiemba first showed Lafayette his true form :>
It was early on in their relationship right after he ran away with Jiemba
Lafayette didn't believe him when he said he was an alien and Jiemba had to show it off to fully convince him.
Well he watched Jiemba change and saw his real form and thought it was the most horrifying thing he'd seen. But, Lafayette gave him a chance and just ended up holding him for awhile getting used to everything and they fell asleep like that for while. Jiemba left Lafayette before he woke up to change back to his borzoi skin.
Lafayette does feel bad that he's scared of Jiemba's real form, it's very unsettling to him and gives him uncanny valley, and Jiemba knows this. They kind of made an unspoken agreement that Jiemba keeps his shedding and real form away from Lafayette unless necessary.
