Indeed.
Great basic idea, but "Warhammer 40,000" is definitely one of those franchises I have mixed thoughts about. (Nothing offensive. Just...there are some media and products from the franchise that are done right; it depends on what you are talking about.)
On the plus side, "Warhammer 40,000" is overall, DEFINITELY better than what became of Disney's live-action MCU! (Going from clever and well-written to suddenly bad writing and poor sense of humor if not NO sense of humor....DISRESPECTING the wishes and memory of Stan Lee! May her rest in peace.)
That is why I switched to watching DC live action superhero films; DC is not afraid to throw badly written movies out of canon! (Marvel is, apparently. And that KINDA makes those in charge of the writing, producing, AND directing COWARDLY.)
