Katya gripped the steering wheel with her hooves, peering into the darkness dimly lit by her headlights.

“Could there be a gloomier day than this to take my algebra test? It feels like I have been driving forever! The Headmare will kill me if I am late!” She thought to herself.

Little did she realize a pair of luminescent blue eyes watched her from the darkness.

“I go to the ether to vary my diet, and the first thing I get is an algebra test?!?” Dyo thought as he watched the scene before him. He rubbed a large claw under his chin as he thought. “Her car is in the same colors that she is. She views it as an extension of herself. Maybe I can spice things up a bit…”


Katy a focused on the road, when suddenly it split in two. She slammed on the brakes skidding to a halt inches away from a looming shadowy figure! She gasped at the sight. The creature stood a good twelve feet tall, on stilt like legs. A ragged skirt of darkness enshrouded its waist. Broad shoulders lead to massive arms with huge clawed hands. The head was enveloped by a claw like shock of hair that trailed off like a wisp of smoke over the pale, cold fire of its eyes.

The small pegasus’s mouth dropped open as she took in the sight. The valves on her wings popped open in fear as she beheld the creature that clearly was not native to this world.

The thing leaned over the hood. Massive paws leaned on her fenders. A single claw began to penetrate into each of her front tires. She felt a tingling in her hooves as the pressure increased.

Just as they were about to pop, the creature moved its head close to the windshield. And applied the last bit of pressure.

“Boo!”
