...Actually now that I think about it, the "Rainbow Ride" song is actually called "Slider" in Super Mario 64's soundtrack, as while it IS the theme heard in the "Rainbow Ride" level, it's FIRST heard when you're sliding down a track in the level with the penguins. The mix that I had pop into my head was actually from Super Smash Bros. Brawl. @_@
Perhaps Spike was rehearsing a drum track for this?
