Nyxia let out a upset rawr as the game finnished. "Nooooo It just started moving!" Her cries sounded childish, and thats because none of it made sence to her. The screen that showed horseless carriages that didn't actually exist, the fact that the thing in her hand somehow controlled her owne horseless carriage, or even the little characters in the carriages. It all stank of illusion magic but Hellen had assured her there was no magic before wen they watched a books words manifest on the screen turning into visible characters. Hellen called it a movie and she said it was far better than reading a book.

Speaking of, Hellen was smiling while letting out a small chuckle. She had just spent the last 5 minutes trying to explain what a joystick was to Nyxia what a joystick was and how it would make her move, while simultaneously keeping 1st for most of the game. "Hey its alright, you will do better this next time." She had ben enjoying this alot it's not every day you get to play video games with your idol, but thats just where she found herself now.

She had only signed up for the program to help long lived species 2 weeks ago, and definitely hadn't expected to get paired up so quickly. Much less with her favorite history figure and someone she idolized. She didn't need to work anymore either because of Nyxias contributions to keeping the city safe back in the past. She had been sleeping for the past 500 years and Hellen was now tasked with teaching her about the modern world and everything that entails.

Nyxia looked towards Hellen pouting "I couldn't even get it to move for most of the race..." She then looked down at the nuggets that had fallen a bit disappointed.

"Hey now don't give up only after the first game. This time I'll help you, we can share a controller" Hellen scooches over to Nyxia, patting her shoulder.

Nyxia looks at her confused "share? How would we do that?"

Hellen smiles "oh thats easy we can just do what me and my sister use to do" as she is speaking she gets inbetween Nyxias arms, turning to face the TV as she dose.

Nyxia is stunned for a moment before Hellen ask "can you hold out the controller in front of both of us?"

Nyxia regained herself and did as asked. Though her thoughts where clouded with confusion. Is the past of only getting this close with kin or lovers gone? She brought up her sister, maybe this is her way of saying we are that close? Why is her fur so soft?

Hellen snaped Nyxia back to reality wen she grabbed her hands and put them on the controller and said "alright now I want you to watch the screen as I move your fingers and see how they affect the character."

"Oh yeah... that could definitely help" Nyxia was blushing a bright blue, she was glad Hellen couldn't see her face in this position.

After awhile Nyxia got a hang of it and no longer needed Hellens help. She didn't tell Hellen this till much later after they beat the easy bots together on a rainbow treck.

"Hell yeah! Eat that meowsier!" Hellen says clearly ecstatic at the victory

"Yeah!! I finally won!!!" Nyxia let out a prideful rawr and raised her arms in triumph with Hellen still attached

"You did great! See I knew you could get better!" Hellen took her hands off Nyxias. Nyxia giving an unseen disappointed expression in response. Hellen then grabbed her own controller again.

"Think your ready to try and beat me?" Hellen teased as she locked in her character. Nyxia noticed she hadn't moved out from her lap.

"Oh ummmm yeah I'll keep playing" Nyxia said in a distracted tone as she locked in her own character.

Nyxia didn't win again that night with Hellen taking most of the victorys but she didn't mind as much anymore. Plus its hard to play with a hyena who won't stop moving as if there body will effect the cart in front of you.
