i nearly permanently burnt the skin off my hand once with a real smoke grenade before. i fucked up a throw and stupidly went to pick it up to try again, only for it to IMMEDIATELY completely burn through the palm my thick winter glove. i had no idea they got so hot it’s literally like touching a red hot stove. never again nope
