Scaredy Cubs: Crying "Boo-Hoo" from a Boo Hag (Ch.2)
Interesting fact, THIS was actually Judy's original line done in response to Gustel's protests: "'Consented'...? What, is it sexual assault to only call you the first part of your name or something?." Yeah, you can see why I changed it: it sounded a bit too... off, especially as "sexual assault" is something that often makes our minds enter a more serious mentality than one open to comedy. I share this with you to remind that if something feels "off" to yourself when creating, it's okay to change it because you're NOT being the "oversensitive and needlessly self-censoring" creator you think. Also, it probably makes other people feel better to know I can have plenty, plenty, PLENTY of "Yikes..." moments myself. Seriously, let's all remember that there's a difference between being tone deaf and actually being malicious, so let's always try pointing it out politely and whatnot first, ja?
Anyway, it's nice to have mythological beasts and all appear in modern times, where they'd be documented and all on things like the internet. It forces our antagonizing monsters to get more creative, now that more people know their weaknesses-- but you have to remember, these monsters are supposed to be formidable for a reason. Knowing a wintigo as vulnerable to fire doesn't automatically mean you should go seeking the icy cannibalistic spirit in Canada's cruel snowy forests, after all...
