I've been really busy working on the game lately lol xvvx Last week I almost fully implementing the ending scene to dungeons like I mentioned last time! All that's left for it is the story bosses/cutscenes, which I'll add when I can finally work on the story stuff (which is soon!). This week, I fully implemented Mystery Charms (the Wonder Orbs of Monster Mystery) and all effects revolving around them! I'm also wrapping up all the other effects present in Chapter 2 as well with it, since things like Blastblight and Bubbleblight are required for the few of you who play specific monsters or recruit them >vv<
One of my favorite Mystery Charms is the Scripting Orb- it allows you to turn recently used skills into scrolls! Scrolls if you don't know/remember, allow any monster to learn the skill at the dojo in the Burrow :3 So when you use it, you can collect skills that catch your eye without having the grind for the scrolls in the typical way I showed off in that one video! Though it grabs the earliest skill in the last round (that would probably be the skill you happened to use), you can collect Blank Scrolls, and the more Blank Scrolls you have in your Treasure Bag, the more skills from last turn get turned into scrolls! It's really cool in my opinion :3 Course, there's quite a few other Mystery Charms that are interesting too >vv<
I'm trying super duper hard to at least have a release date announcement, even if a little vague, by the 2nd anniversary of the demo (25th of this month)... I can't make any crazy promises but I really want this out as much as you do >vv<; so thank you for letting me brew this thing up for a long while! I know taking this long for new content has been rough (especially for me XvvX) but please understand there's been a LOT we've gotten done since Chapter 1- I don't just mean HUD changes and new monsters, I mean very important mechanics too, which of course took the most time. Honestly I should really make another update summary journal <vv> There was literally nothing to do in the Burrow before, but now we have shopping, banking, eating, adding your friends' teams and subquests, setting course for adventure, managing your team, swapping genes and skills... etc lol so hopefully any chapters I work on after this one will at least come out much faster than this one... more foundation laid! ^vv^ (Curse you, me, for being so awful with project scopes!) Anyway, thanks for reading all this :3
