The Wolfen of Yllia spread all throughout Aarklash, even in the time of Rag'Narok. Some would call these beast-men savages, and they wouldn't be wrong. But calling them cultureless would be incorrect. One thing they take seriously is the protection of their dead, with some called Grave Guardians taking oaths to protect the final resting places of their packmates, and their personal effects. Tarak is one such Wolfen, having travelled to the Mercenary City of Cadwallon to take up his role as a protector of the graves and tombs in the Wolfen-run fief within the city's territory. Woe betide any who seek the treasures within for themselves, as the fury of the Wolfen is infamous and bloody, and the last thing looters would see is the skull-clad face with claws and teeth...
Stumbled onto an old TTRPG a month or two ago, called Cadwallon. It's a spinoff of the Confrontation miniatures game by Rackham Miniatures, but the IP has kind of languised in obscurity. That said, I very much grew fascinated by the Wolfen of Yllia army. A bunch of savage, tribal wolfmen who reverse nature and the moon and shun technology? I'm sold! So I got digging and eventually made a character, Tarak. I'll probably end up getting a lot more art of him soon, too. I got... more than a little obsessed... ;;>3>
