This is a bit different from my usual story telling style. It's an episodic story told in a blog format. So, there will be posts in this that are close to being rants from the main character. Posts that are off kilter as the main character goes off on his own tangents. Times the story will feel sideways almost. It's done to make this feel like a blog posting from a military vet who was adopted by a werewolf, and now his entire life has been turned upside down.

Oh boy! Telling the boss things he doesn't want to hear is NOT a good way to endear yourself to management. UNLESS you have an exceptional Leader (note, wuff did not say "boss" this time) who can take criticism and make course corrections from it.
Sadly, those types are rather few and far between.

Heck, 30-40 minutes down a 2-lane country road between COS & Schriever AFB was bad enough for Vrghr, and wuff had a decent ride at the time.
In that case, it wasn't so much the drive, but the drivers. Everyone heading the same way at the same time for shift change on the base. Eeek.
