i implore you to watch it, but let me explain it briefly.

basically, with tech companies making you sign license agreements with monthly subscriptions to use their products, or to steal your personal data, or to scrape your creative works to train AI algorithms to replace you, Clippy represents a standard of practice we NEED to go back to.

Clippy, as a program, ONLY wanted to help. he didnt read your data, or emails, or send ANYTHING to microsoft.

if you wrote an email, Clippy would offer to help. he wouldnt read what you were writing, just offer helpful advice.

he was YOUR assistant, and had no desire to peek into your private information.

a simple program from a day and age when tech companies were held accountable for scummy behavior.

and so, Clippy will be our mask of protest.

if MILLIONS of people put clippy on their google accounts, youtubes, blogs, everything, and we continue to show no support for this obsurd behavior, they will see a revolution forming before their eyes.

Clippy is our mask, Clippy is only here to help, Clippy represents all thats good.


but why ABDL?

:3c 2 reasons. 1, i find it funny to turn Clippy into the pin on the diaper of the ABDL pride flag.

and 2. in a day and age where google is trying to censor youtube content thru AI age assessment, to strongarm people into submitting such sensitive info as their State IDs, in an age where Debit/Credit card companies like Visa can remove THOUSANDS of games from Steam in a blatant act of censorship, i refuse to be quiet.

in a crowd of Clippys, a pride flag is a very small flourish, but also a mark of open armed acceptance to the queer community.

If Clippy is our mask, then let our banners be our flags.

and the people will sing arm and arm:
KINDNESS AND PRIDE, KINDNESS AND PRIDE

a single twig breaks easily, but many held together hold STRONG.

so too can the humble paperclip be made powerful, when it is one of MANY in link together.

i hold no shame for who i am, i have no regrets in letting my love of crinkles be known. my love of diapees is harmless, and i only want to help and befriend my fellows.

so march on, my Clippys. take this icon as your own, make it yours. i give it freely, and with open arms.
