Description:

Desian is a 6'1" dragonkin. No horns, cat-like ears pointing straight up and ending in tufts of fur. Long, black hair he's tied into a ponytail with bangs parted to one side, dying the tips amber. He's got the thin build of someone who's active but doesn't work out all that much. Wings are double jointed, once at the base and another at the crest, basically making two triangular planes separated by bone. Tail is long and tapers to a point. A trail of black fur trails down from the back of his head to the tip of his tail, which ends in a tuft like the ears, also dyed amber at the tips.

Outfit consists of:
Head: Period black fedora (ear holes included)
Torso: Depending on his mood or the setting; Dress shirt or graphic t-shirt (animals and fantasy preferred), Waistcoat either buttoned up formal or unbuttoned casual and ankle-length frock coat.
Legs: Slacks or skinny jeans, depending on mood or setting.
Feet: Loafers, dress boots or tac-boots. Depending on setting. Prefers tac-boots almost always.

Accessories: Pentacle necklace, silver. Silver sword cane with black shaft, simple bulb handle.

Bio:

Desian Soto is the quiet type. Not for lack of nothing to say, he has a lot to say, just doesn't know how to do it. What generally comes out is an insanely silly side, preferring to make people laugh instead of voice opinions that could make them dislike him. His opinion of people changes by the day, sometimes he's extremely sociable and the next he'll be in your face rude to you just to get you away from him. There are very few types of people he'll get along with on a regular basis. He enjoys helping people, oddly enough. And is generally a laid back kind of guy otherwise.

He holds interest in pretty much anything that's extremely technical. Science, math, computers, martial arts, etc. He's also fond of psychology including topics such as theology, mythology, political views; Basically anything where you can study someone line of thinking to find out why they believe the way they do. He has trouble keeping focused on something though, which pretty much means while he's interested in these things, he only has a general sense about each of them.

He has a very broad sense of fashion. He loves steampunk and formal but can be anywhere from punk to more fantastic setups (robes or sarongs not unheard of). As a general rule he's in a fedora and a fit shirt with a waistcoat, either buttoned or unbuttoned though graphic shirts are a must when unbuttoned, a long ass frock coat and jeans or slacks with boots to finish off. He's nearly always wearing a pentacle necklace, the charm given to him by his mother and the chain his grandmother's and a copper bracelet he found that reminds him of his uncle and grandfather.

Desian doesn't like to do things normal. He doesn't walk in straight lines. He moves his body in odd ways at random. He makes random noises, faces, gestures, words, actions, what have you. He'll climb on things, touch stuff, place objects in his mouth and generally just be really odd. He doesn't even think entirely straight which can be a blessing and a curse. Some things he gets really quickly while others it takes him a bit longer than it should and often he doesn't know how he got to the conclusion in the first place. He remembers stuff he shouldn't and forgets stuff he should remember. Having a conversation with him can be difficult as he's often thinking about other things that are only loosely related to the topic at hand. In short, he's just odd.

RP Bio:

Desian takes on aspects depending on where I RP him. While yes he's me, I like to take on some aspects that aren't me when I RP.

In my own fantasy world, Desian is a warlock. A type of magic user that binds living souls to his benefit. Warlocks are shamans who can only normally bind souls of the dead to perform magic but through the use of blood magic kind of cheat past this rule. Because of these facts, warlocks are generally not trusted in modern society if not outright criminals. Desian himself became a warlock out of necessity and generally only binds willing souls, though that doesn't stop the fact that most people want to arrest or kill him. He's set himself up as a mercenary/collector and does stuff. Like stuff and stuff.

In a magic-less setting, he's just a collector. Does computer stuff. Experiments with SCIENCE!. Does martial arts, including swordplay. And… Really depends on the setting I suppose.
