I've been thinking about how I'd draw characters' irises and pupils quite a bit lately, so I drew this little style guide for myself that I'll use as reference!So, the first face is just how I draw eyes normally. The second is for dark environments where it wouldn't make sense for eye highlights to appear due to the absence of light. I suppose the third would be used to indicate a certain "wrongness" to a character, like trauma or emotional coldness. The fourth is your average shocked eyes, just small circles and such, while the fifth is for insanity or intense anger. The sixth is just a general goofy moment face that could be used for alot of emotions, and the seventh is for simplified depictions of characters, for if they're far away or anything like that.Probably should've done a crying eye guide too, with more highlights to make it look watery, but I didn't think of it while making this.
