Standard Day 133, Standard Year 9,247 (Alliance Year 202)

Reclaiming places long lost is one of our duties as Gaia Keepers these days, it seems. After all, GAIA has seen fit to re-open the homeworld of all humanity to the cosmos again, and welcome mankind back to its' oh-so-changed home. Sadly, the damage wrought by some of we Keepers lingers in the hearts of humanity, and many won't come home, or feel they no longer have need of the homeworld.

This leaves people like me, Gaia Keepers, to at least have a few places ready. This one, at least, has some few people - a new settlement in what used to be the middle of North America. Before the Great Expulsion back in the late 2500s this would have been called... Hrmm, conflict - my Aspects can't seem to agree if this was one of what we think is one of the three Carolinas or a Virginia.

So here I am, slowly hovering in. They've put up some sort of historic sign, preserved under diamondoid. Not even sure where they got it from. Maybe one day this place will be the heart of a new city. I hope so. Humanity has been without its' homeworld for seven thousand years.

Maybe its' time for the kids to come home. I hope so.
