Reisha was cursed since she was a child due to her parents angering the god of night. The minor god of dreams and nightmares was tasked with the divine punishment and her parents were provided a choice, they could give up someone in their families ability to dream and vowed that their previous transgressions would be forgotten. Greedy and selfish, Reisha's parents agreed offering up their daughter. Enraged by their willingness to harm their own child the god put a seperate curse on her parents.
One of eternal nightmares. The god, caught in a spirit vow binding was forced to take away Reisha's dreams and nightmares. The god decided then and there to take Reisha in as a disciple and train her to be a shrine maiden for the god of night. When Reisha turned 18, after showing great diligence in her duties the god of night decided to have mercy and lift the curse as long as she remained a loyal follower. After losing out on so many years of sleep, Reisha was left with permanent dark circles under her eyes even after many many naps.
