Awh! Such a cute little gerb! What's its name? :)

Her name is Lisa. Her sister "Kralli" ("Kralle" is german for claw, so her name would be clawi in english^^) died 1 year before. Lisa is 3 years old now.

Awh, poor Kralli... Yeah, this little fella *indicates picture* died last November and his brother, Fudge, died earlier this year. Speedy was two and Fudge was about two and a half. His daughter, Lavender, who looked almost identical to Lisa, is also three years old, and still going strong. I love gerbils!!! We have four at the moment, although earlier this year we had nine! ^^

Its such a pity they die so fast...

Everyday we put Lisa on the kitchentable (She just makes her yuckis in one corner) and watch her runing around...

But I hate it to watch that she grows older everyday...
She looses her strong fur colour, she sleeps more, she doesnt run as fast as she did when she was younger...

Hey, don't worry, you're English is vastly better than my German...

Yeah, I know. Dad always gets really upset when they die and I think that when these four die, he won't get any more because he get't really upset when they die. But they're so adorable! We let ours run around on the sofa and on my bed, if I can supervise them.

At least you can be safe and happy in the knowledge that you took good care of them! :)
