Sketches from April 2018. At that time I had an idea to make this big fancy tutorial art in which I wanted to show how to draw quadrupedal Meowth in different positions step by step. Never got past this stage though, because for each next individual step I would have to draw separate sketches on separate pieces of paper using a lightbox - and it felt too tedious 😅 (Yeah, I didn't have the opportunity to work in digital properly in those days and just drew everything in traditional). And when I got my current tablet years later, my interest in this project was already hopelessly lost, so these sketches no longer had a chance to become a full-fledged art 🥲
I found them and remembered about them now though, and decided that they still look good enough to see the light of day, so I'm posting them for now. Maybe someone will find them interesting or useful even as is.

What inspired me to come up with this idea in the first place was that I wanted to make a concictent example of the Meowth which will look as close as possible to their game sprites (which are all bipedal, as we know), but will still walk on all fours. Because the anime, despite making the quadrupedality of the default Meowths a big deal, is terribly inconsistent in its way of drawing them and so barely gives proper references.
The characters are random. (The Persian is either a relative, or the same Meowth after evolution, I really don't know).
