Kris is an external consultant for ZT hired for external verification and environmental impact studies. His primary job is checking the progress of the ZT-Experimental forest area alongside Frances, Hazel and Bea and his secondary roles consist of assisting surveys for new / ongoing construction.

Kris was initially intended to be a permanent ZT hire but was offered a professorship at a nearby university during the interview process and was offered a consulting agreement incase things didn't work out.

His specialty lies in textile plants and natural fibers (his first four academic papers were all on cultivars and cultivation of cotton plants in atypical climate); but he is routinely called in to identify or assist certifying new plant samples ZT has procured or produced.

Personality wise he is professional and confident in his immediately realm of expertise; but enjoys many topics of conversation, namely history, new technology, and recent local happenings, particularly over a beer or other intoxicant. Kris frequents the Cloven Hoof (he encountered Antonia there which is what let to his resume drop) He tends to be friendly towards known acquaintances and cautiously reserved around new folks.

He has no direct involvement in ZT's size shenanigans although he has undergone standard Mixed Magnitude Interaction training. Despite being offered, Kris has resisted using SIZ-gear for academic studies if only because he has distinct (and genre-conscious) concern about being *stuck* at meso-scale and smaller which would put a definitive cramp on his lifestyle.
