These ambiguous mammals are placeholders, this can vary on a sliding scale depending on the exact build, and wereforms can be any animal, of the shifters home planet.
Therionthropes/werebeasts/the animalatry, these all refers to the blessed followers of the nature god Animami.
Warrior builds: get much taller, more muscular, the most deadly claws.
It says above how they get slower but this was admittedly a rushed list, they are rather quick, but they ARE slower than other builds.
Those of this build may find themselves susceptible to rage and impulse.
Rogue/ranger builds: MAY get a little taller, lithe, and gets quicker, and much more flexible.
Muscles become built for marathons, and holding still positions that may otherwise cause strain.
Again the list is rushed, actual downsides: relies more on big crits rather than consistent damage.
Mage/charisma builds: often become very short, much frailer, mages or psychics get brain growth, meaning big ol noggin, which is a big target. and a more breakable neck.
charisma/bard types become more attractive in some way, better voice, cuter, hotter, more elaborate fur markings, and so on.
I made them like this because in feel werebeasts are often viewed as a "warrior specific" sort of thing in a fantasy setting you know? But what if it increased traits depend on class rather than just muscles.
Yes I got this idea from the sliding scale and how appearance works in biomutant shush.
Remember these 3 are just an example of extremes! This is a sliding scale moreso!
And here's said Animami, the deity: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/57249342/
