ある日、のどかな風が吹き、青空も素晴らしい平和的な街に、突如と凄まじい揺れが襲ってきた。
あまりに突然の凄まじい揺れに、街の人々は大混乱に陥った。

大地震でも起こったか…? 皆はそう思った。
…だが、その揺れは一回だけだった…。
では、今の大き過ぎる揺れは一体…何だったんだ…?

皆がパニック状態になっている中、ある男性が叫び声を上げる。

「う…うわあぁぁぁぁぁッッッ!!!! な………なんだッッッ!!?!?! あの恐ろしいほどデカい奴は!!?!?!」

その男性の言葉を聞いた皆は、男性が見ている方を一斉に見る…
すると、男性の視線の先には…ここから数百メートルも離れているにも関わらず、
明らかにデカいと分かる、山並みに巨大な…推定数百メートル以上の巨大怪獣が見えた。

それを見た皆は更に大パニックを引き起こし、一目散に逃げ出す。
しかしパニックになり過ぎているが故に交通事故や突き飛ばしや倒れた人が多くの人に踏まれる等、
とにかく街は阿鼻叫喚な状態になっていた。

…そんな町の人々をよそに、巨大怪獣が動き出す…。

「グルルルル……♪ 踏み潰しがいのある街じゃねぇか…♪
　よぉ～し、待ってろよぉ…? 今すぐ大襲撃してやるからよ……!!♪♪」

信じられないことに、巨大怪獣が喋りだす。
ただただ咆哮をして襲いかかってくる巨大怪獣よりも、知能があって喋れる巨大怪獣が襲いかかってくる方のが、
恐怖を感じやすいだろう…。
何より、襲われる自分たちに分かる言葉で喋りながら踏み潰そうとしてくるのだ…
恐怖度はより高くなるのは当然のことだ。


ドシィィィィィィィィィンッッッッッッッ!!!!! ズドォォォォォォォォォォォォンッッッッッッッッッ!!!!!!!!!


奴が歩き始めた。
奴はただ歩いているだけだ…しかしそれだけで大災害級の被害を出せてしまう。

先程の…恐らくあの巨大怪獣が降ってきた際…と思われる衝撃よりも、まだマシではある…が、
それでもあの巨大怪獣の一歩一歩の揺れがとても強い。
数百メートル程離れているにも関わらず、だ。
これが超近距離まで来られたら……想像をするだけで身体が震える…。

街の人々の一歩、十歩と、巨大怪獣の一歩の差はあまりにも大きかった…。
巨大怪獣の一歩は、人間にとって何十歩…下手しなくても数百歩程の距離をたった一歩で進む。

逃げられるわけがない…。
仮に車や電車を使った所で、それでも逃げ切れない…。
そして巨大怪獣はもうすぐ側まで接近されていた。

「おうおう、必死に逃げているようだが…巨大怪獣の俺の踏み潰しからは逃げれないぜ…?♪」

巨大怪獣がそう言い放ち、ゆっくりと大きな足を持ち上げる…。

「グルルル……♪ んじゃあ…踏み潰してやるッッ!!!」

奴は悲鳴を上げている人々に容赦なく、街に巨大な足を振り下ろす。
その瞬間、最初に体験した並みの衝撃が、今度は街に直接襲いかかった。

着弾地点の建物は当然粉々に踏み潰され、その周囲の建物も揺れと衝撃波等で一瞬で倒壊する。
大量の瓦礫と土埃が舞い上がり、先程までうるさかった悲鳴もピタリと止んだ。

たった一踏みで街を半分以上も壊滅させたのだ。
ただただ…圧倒的な存在と言わざるを得ない……。

「グルルル♪♪♪ 一回の踏み潰しで、すんげぇ被害出しちまったぜ…♪♪
　…もう少し加減すりゃあ良かったか…? まぁ良い、残った建物とかはゆっくり踏み潰したり…俺のでかけつで座り潰したりしてやるからよ…♪」

その後も巨大怪獣は容赦なく、なんとか倒壊を免れていたビル等を踏み潰したりあまりにも巨大なお尻で勢いよく座り潰したりして「遊んでいた」。
そう、巨大怪獣にとってはこれはただの「遊び」であるのだ。
その「遊び」に巻き込まれた街とその人々は…とても災難である…。

巨大怪獣は一つの街を更地…どころか、非常に大きなクレーターを作りまくった後、上機嫌で次の街に向かうのであった…。

「ふぅ～…♪♪ まぁ、いい感じに暴れられたなっ♪♪ ……さて…次に俺に襲われる街は何処かなぁ??♪」

巨大怪獣は再び大地を激しく揺らし、巨大すぎる足跡も付けながら、街「だった」所から去ったのである……。
